What you need
cup fresh parsley

onion

pinch black pepper

tbsp olive oil
pinch salt
lb ground beef

tsp seasoning mix
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and lightly grease with olive oil. 2. Place diced onion in a strainer and squeeze out excess water. 3. In a bowl, combine ground beef, Italian sausage, drained onion, parsley, 7-spice, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined. 4. Transfer meat mixture onto the prepared pan and flatten into an even layer. 5. Use a spatula to lightly separate the meat into individual kafta portions without fully cutting through. 6. Arrange sliced onions or tomatoes along the sides of the pan, if using. 7. Bake for 18–20 minutes until cooked through. 8. Switch oven to broil and broil 2–3 minutes until browned on top. 9. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
